Terms for using Hank.
These terms describe the current pre-launch website and the planned private beta. Service-specific terms may be added before texting becomes publicly available.
What Hank provides
Hank helps people describe local needs, identify potentially relevant businesses, and compare information or bids. Hank is a marketplace facilitator, not the provider of the underlying service.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your request and for independently evaluating a business, its credentials, insurance, licenses, pricing, availability, and suitability before hiring or paying it.
Businesses and bids
Businesses control their own offers and work. A match, review, or ranking is not a guarantee of quality, availability, safety, or outcome. Prices and examples shown on the website are illustrative unless expressly identified as a live offer.
Payments
Posting a request is planned to be free during the beta. Unless Hank clearly says otherwise, payments and service agreements are made directly between you and the selected business.
Acceptable use
Do not use Hank for unlawful, deceptive, dangerous, abusive, or emergency requests; to distribute malware or spam; or to violate another person's privacy or rights.
No emergencies or professional advice
Hank is not an emergency dispatch service and does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional when needed.
Availability
The beta may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Categories and geographic coverage will vary, and Hank may be unable to find a suitable business for a request.

The website and beta are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law, without warranties that every request will receive bids or result in a successful transaction.
Updates
These terms may change as the service develops. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
